What should be included in a marriage biodata?

A complete biodata usually covers six things: a photo, personal details (name, date of birth, height, complexion, marital status, religion), birth and horoscope details (time and place of birth, Rashi, Nakshatra, Manglik status), education and career, family background (parents and siblings), and contact details. Our builder is organised into exactly these sections, so you can fill them in one at a time without missing anything important.

Is the biodata format different for a boy or a girl?

The fields are exactly the same either way — personal details, education, family background, horoscope, and contact information apply equally whether you're creating a biodata for a son or a daughter. Just select "male" or "female" under personal details, and pick whichever template design suits your family's style.

Question 7

Is there a separate Hindu, Muslim, or Christian biodata format?

We don't have separate templates per religion, but the builder works well for any background. Religion is a free-text field, and details like caste, Gothra, Manglik, and Rashi/Nakshatra — common in Hindu biodatas — are all optional, so you can simply leave them blank if they don't apply to yours.

What horoscope or astrology details can I add?

Accepted Answer

In the Astrology section you can add Rashi (moon sign), Nakshatra (birth star), Gan, Nadi, and Charan, along with Manglik status and your time and place of birth from Personal Details. Every one of these is optional — add what you know and skip the rest.

Do I need to create an account or sign in?

Accepted Answer

No. There's no login, signup, or OTP anywhere on MyMarriageBio — just open the page and start filling in your details.

Is my data safe? Where is it stored?

Accepted Answer

Your biodata draft is saved only in your own browser while you're filling it in — we don't see it. It's sent to our server only briefly when you choose to download, to generate the PDF and process payment, and that copy automatically expires within about 30 minutes.

How much does it cost, and how do I pay?

Accepted Answer

₹29 for a PDF with a small watermark, or ₹39 for a clean copy without one. Payment is handled securely through Razorpay.

Can I download my biodata as a PDF? Is a Word file available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every biodata downloads as a print-ready, A4-sized PDF. We don't currently offer a Word/DOCX export — the PDF is designed to look the same wherever it's opened or printed.

Can I add my siblings' and parents' details?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the Family Details section lets you add your father's and mother's names and occupations, your family type and values, native place, and as many siblings as you need, each with their name, relation, marital status, and occupation.

What if I don't know some details, like my time of birth or blood group?

Accepted Answer

That's fine — aside from a handful of essentials (name, date of birth, marital status, religion, city, country, education, occupation, and phone number), every other field in the builder is optional. Leave anything blank and come back to add it later if you find out.

Can I include my partner preferences in the biodata?

Yes, there's an optional Partner Preferences section at the end of the builder where you can note preferred age range, height, education, occupation, location, and any other expectations.
