Privacy Policy

MyMarriageBio is a simple tool for creating a marriage biodata. This page explains what information we collect, how it's stored, and how it's used, in plain language, not legal jargon.

No account required

You don't need to sign up, log in, or provide an email address to use the builder. There are no user accounts on MyMarriageBio.

What we store, and for how long

While you're filling in your biodata, the details you enter are saved only in your own browser (using your browser's local storage), not on our servers. If you close the tab and come back later on the same device and browser, your draft is still there.

When you choose to pay and download your PDF, the details you've entered are sent to our servers temporarily so the PDF can be generated. This copy is automatically deleted after about 30 minutes, whether or not you've completed the download. We don't keep a permanent copy of your biodata on our servers.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details: Razorpay handles that directly, under its own security and privacy practices.

Support chat

The chat button in the corner of the site is run by unclench.ai. If you use it, the messages you send, and the name and email you give it, go to unclench.ai so the assistant can answer and we can follow up. It is entirely optional, and we don't send it the details in your biodata. Please don't paste your biodata or payment details into the chat.

Videos

The homepage shows a short how-to video hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you scroll to it. It then plays (muted unless you have already tapped the page) from YouTube's privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) player, under Google's own privacy policy.

Analytics

We use standard analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, Ahrefs Web Analytics) to understand how people use the site: things like which pages are visited, how far people scroll, what they click, which builder fields get filled or skipped, and where people drop off. We record which fields are used, never what you type into them. These tools collect general usage data, not the contents of your biodata. If you arrive through a tagged link (for example from Instagram or WhatsApp), we note that source so we know which links bring people here.

Clarity and PostHog can also record how a visit moves through a page, as a session replay. The builder and the biodata preview are masked in those recordings: what you type and the details shown on your preview are hidden before anything is sent.

Your rights

Since we don't keep a permanent copy of your biodata, there's generally nothing to request deletion of after the 30-minute window passes. If you have any concerns about your data, email us and we'll help.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
